The Little Litter Warriors educational programme is open to schools across Worcestershire areas. The workshops are perfect for KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 & KS5 pupils as each key stage is adapted to suit all age groups. The litter impact sessions will leave you amazed and enthused to do more for your communities environment. Take the lead today for a brighter and cleaner future.
The Little Litter Warriors program is designed to highlight community litter pollution through a fun and engaging litter pick or hunt. The pupils learn first-hand about their local environment and the impact litter has on the wildlife, marine life, and their community areas. I bring along vintage litter to visually impact the need for change in human behaviours. I have personally found these items whilst litter picking, and the pupils can see how litter can remain in our environment for many years to come when littered. The oldest piece I've collected dates back to 1928! The pupils can also see how the packaging materials deteriate over the years they have remained in the environment.
I have also had many litter items donated by our local litter picking groups and what other pupils have found whilst litter picking on my workshop so there is lots of vintage litter to see.
We have lots of fun searching for an old piece of litter that the children can use in a show and tell activity in school with other year groups.
